The quiet space behind the mind
The Quiet Space Behind the Mind
There is a space I try to live in - a space behind the noise, beyond the constant chatter of thoughts. It’s quiet there, but not empty. It’s not silence in the absence of sound, but rather a stillness that holds clarity, like a calm lake that reflects truth without distortion.
This quiet space behind the mind is not always easy to find. It requires intention. It requires presence. But when I’m there, I become aware - not just of my surroundings, but of myself. I become knowing of what I need, not from a place of wanting or restlessness, but from a place of understanding.
It’s the space where I don’t have to figure everything out. I don’t have to strive or perform. I just am. And in that being, I see what matters most.
This space has become a compass. It doesn’t scream for attention, but gently tugs at me when I’ve gone too far into distraction, too far into stress or performance. When I return to it, I remember who I am without the roles, without the titles, without the noise.
And from that still place, my next step often becomes clear. This is the quiet space behind my mind.
